Bela Hope arrived in the world on Sunday, June 27th, 2010 at 8:14am weighing 9 lbs and 2 oz! I’ll fill in names as people let me know what days they want to do. I checked with the family and there are no allergies or food preferences, but there are three little ones, so keep them in mind when choosing foods. Feel free to adjust a date to what works for you. The friday night square dance hosted by the youth group was amazing! We’ll be looking to continue dancing sometime in the next month of two. Thanks so much to the caller and everyone who set up this great evening! It really took me by surprise… square dancing is so much fun.

Not every church gets to welcome three babies within a three week period! Thank you to everyone who helped with meals for the family our first new blessing, Kolter Alan Lobner. On Thursday of last week Jim and Jess Stock welcomed Josie Bloom and today we welcome a new Pastor! No we’re not replacing Chet, Melissa and Manuel Pastor had their baby today and we have yet to hear the official name.
If anyone is able to help with meals for either the Stocks or Pastors or both, please e-mail me or leave a comment here. For the Stocks we plan to be flexible, let me know when you’d like to take food and I’ll get you the directions. Melissa and Manuel have little family to support them and could use a more structured plan for meals from us, hence the dates below!

Please make double meals so that the food lasts at least a couple of days for them. I haven’t heard of any food allergies for either family. I have heard that Melissa is not very fond of vegetables or tomato based sauces. Thanks everyone! Who knows when it’ll be YOU that needs cooked for! Check back for schedule updates. I just created a new page for posts on current events at lifebridge. Becca had proposed using it to communicate on how to distribute meals to the families with babies, and maybe even plan a gardening schedule this spring. Now its up and running. If you find any bugs, just let me know 
Ok, after much deliberation 
, Diego and I have come to several conclusions concerning the church webpage:
Home page – all colors; Individual pages – each a different color
Top bar must always be the same color
Diego likes a tabbed menu – also likes a line of color above or below menu items… – maybe not tabs, but faded color bar…
Only one main photo at a time… a central image on the home page should draw you in (An image can make or break a site)…Play with color in images to make certain elements stand out
Diego doesn’t like Bradley script font…
When we have a great photo – use a black/white/grey border right around the main photo
Use a good transition of central image – maybe a vertical rollover in flash…
Micah – spread out primary colors – not so much contrast
Maybe use diagonal stripes on top bar… but they can’t be distracting…
Try to use more paper textures than wood
Keep it centered

If you guys are wondering “wow, how are diego and micah so amazing, how do they have a litte picture” well its easy to be amazing (just not as amazing as us) you can go to www.gravatar.com and then just enter your wordpress information, or, i think tou have to make a gravatar account, then you add a pic and then in like some minutes it will change it. :d
OK SO HERE ARE 2 PICTURES, 1 OF THEM IS THE MODIFIED OF THE OTHER ONE (THE MODIFIED HAS THE BLUE BAR ON TOP), FRIEDA SAYS THEY ARE TO FANCY SCMANCY FOR THE WEBSITE BUT I STILL FELT LIKE PUTTING IT UP HERE!

By the way, it would be great if other people from church, besides me and diego, gave feedback on these designs… just remember to look at the overall structure… this is what we’re deciding right now… it is easy to tweek and improve a design once we have decided on it.
Also, for the next week or so I’ll just continue to edit this post with new design photos instead of creating new posts, so even if there are no new posts there may be some new designs!
